The first 2 1/2 miles of the Salmon River, at Douglaston SalmonRun (DSR), provides excellent angling for fresh aggressive salmon and trout. Deep pools, runs and pocket waters accomodate all angling methods.
DSR has full time riverkeepers, whose goal is to provide a quality fishing experience by promoting sportsmanship and conservation.
