Brainwaves recently introduced another Item that was verv much appreciated by many anglers a few generations ago and then disappeared from the market. Anglers should have bought enough of them to last a lifetime, because they stopped making them, but Brainwaves is offering it again.

This is the FlyBack, which is a miniature twig cutter. How many times have you hooked your fly on a limb on the backcast and had to leave the fly when the leader snapped? With a a FlyBack, you simply slip a thin foot designed for the purpose into the tip of your fly rod. A stout line is attached to the FlyBack. Raise the FlyBack to the limb and slip the small stainless steel knife blade around the limb holding the fly. Remove the tool from the rod tip and gently Pull on the line and the blade will clip the twig so vou can retrieve your fly. It fits easily in a fly vest pocket and should last until you lose it.
