Anti/ Reverse Reels

The four models of Anti-Reverse reels have revolutionized the thinking of big game fly-fishers seeking big fish, tuna, wahoo, kingfish and other bluewater speedsters. What does Anti/Reverse mean? Simply put, the handle doesn't turn when line goes out, therefore no more cracked knuckles, bruised fingers or broken nails . . . a valid consideration for pianists, surgeons, jewelers and politicians. Abel A/Rs have fewer moving parts, are light weight, and utilize a unique ball bearing design. Each A/R reel comes with its own finger wrench for removing the spool.
