Penn International Saltwater Fly Reels
All Penn fly reels
are crafted in the U.S.A. from machined bar stock aluminum for superior
strength. The smooth yet powerful HT100 drag system allows for greater heat
dissipation and smooth, sustained braking power over a wide range of settings.
The large diameter drag adjustment knob has special detents to keep the
drag where you set it, and all Penn fly reels feature a palming rim for
instant manual drag control. Each reel is built with highly corrosion resistant
components including: a stainless steel spindle, three aircraft quality
stainless steel ball bearings, bronze double dogs to prevent internal damage,
and a machined aluminum rod stand with a special stabilizing bar for a rock
solid connection of reel to rod. Easily convertible for right or left hand
use. These reels are suitable for all types of saltwater and heavy freshwater
fly fishing. They're great for species like permit, bonefish, tarpon, sailfish,
bluefish, small tunas, striped bass, salmon and steelhead:

The STH Family of Cassette Fly Reels
The cassette system has been considered by the specialized fly fishing magazines as "the greatest advance in fiy reals in decades," It is a new and economical idea in fly fishing, allowing you to have in the pockets of your vest, ready to fish, three or four different fly lines for different applications. You only have the weight of the line to carry, at a very affordable price. They are made of indestructible clear polycarbonate.
Although the reels are made of different materials, have different drag systems and different price ranges, they all accept the same cassettes. Also, they convert easily from right to left hand retrieve as easily as turning over.
IM-POP Cassette Stories 1/2
This new cassette reel system enables you to pull and twist to change the cassette (less than 5 seconds are required), and to change it from left to right hand retrieve just flip the cassette over. It is manufactured with the latest injection molding technology made of a special aluminum alloy, light and very strong, it is salt corrosion resistant and has the smoothest disc drag available in the market. Comes only in cassette size 2. All reels are supplied with 1 extra cassette.

IM Cassette Series 1/2
This reel is injection molded from a high silicon content aluminum alloy for extra strength and features a new 360 degree disc drag cover. The new E & T finish ("E" Environmentally friendly & "T' Tough) is corrosion resistant and complys with EPA regulations. These reels are light weight and very strong to match the power of the saltwater fish such as Bonefish, Bluefish, Striper Bass, Red Tail, Barracuda, Permit, Dolphin, Baby Tarpon, etc. They are not recommended for salt water big game fish . STH Gary Borger Series 1/2
