If you feel like you're carrying the world on your shoulders and around your neck when you're wearing your fly fishing vest check out this Lone Peak FF System. The record FFN has weighed for a vest normally used was 22 pounds. This may not be too bad, as this weight included the net.In conjuctions with Lone Peak, FFN provided input for the design and presently has the exclusive for this system.This system consist of three main pieces:FF400 -9"x8.25"x3.5" pack provides a zip down work space with 2" tippet dispensers and 2" lip to keep small items from rolling away. Mesh zippered from pocket and mesh bottom to drain water. Velcro top closure so in most fishing conditions forget about the zippers. Weight 12 oz. Always room for one more item, it can be worn either on the chest or the backFF100-7"x4.75"x2.5" pack with mesh front and side pocket. This little dynamo will easily handly the organized fly fisherman's needs by itself. As the lower right graphic shows, ATH floatant dispenser, 2 Myran fly boxes, Wheatley 6 window compartment box, Tiemco Pliers, Orvis nippers, Fly Tyer's Carry All folding insect net, 2 spools tippet material that feed thru the mesh openings, 150 flies or so, Umpqua plastic strip thermometer and afew small split shot. All this, including the FF100 weigh in at 12 oz. That's oz. Can be worn on chest, back or on the hip.Mesh Back Pocket-9"x11"x4.5". This size was arrived at to carry a Patagonia SST, afew sandwiches and a couple of cans of soda or a small thermos. And because alot of angling excursions are only for a few hours, under clear skies, it can be completely detached.All straps are included to provide all usages shown in graphic, including one which doubles as a belt so the FF100 can be used on the hip.
