LOOP TRADITIONAL 1/2

The advanced design of this innovative fly reel features three axles, three point conical suspension rollers, and sealed stainless steel ball bearings. The supersmooth drag system is supplemented with rim control palming and a spooloverrun adjustment screw (also used for changing spools.)

Saltwater safe rinse in fresh water after use. These are the reels of choice for anglers who enjoy fighting big fish like Atlantic salmon, steelhead and tarpon.

Their large diameter spools retrieve line very quickly, a tremendous advantage when battling fish that make long runs. Large spool diameter also reduces line memory, resulting in fewer tangles and more casting distance.

Loop Midge Reel

This is the reel for ultra light purists - the ones who count fractions of an ounce when they judge their tackle.

Why does spool weight matter so much? Because as fly anglers use lighter and lighter tippets in pursuit of mega-trout, more break-offs occur at the instant when a running fish snaps the line tight to the reel.

Loop Reels have always featured the lightest spools and the least resistance to spool start-up of any big-fish reel. The Dry Fly model simply takes lightweight to its logical extreme. This reel offers virtually no resistance, beyond the resistance you set to avoid spool over-run.

The Loop Midge model is similar in size to the Loop Traditional Model 2. It holds a 0-2 wt lines, 2.8 oz., with a 3 1/4" dia., 1 3/16" wide.

Suggested retail: $395.00

Loop Dry Fly Reel

This is the reel for true dry-fly purists - the ones who count fractions of an ounce when they judge their tackle.

Loop's new Dry Fly model has all the features of a Loop Traditional, except the spool is even more lightweight. The entire Dry Fly reel weighs only 4.5 ounces, while the spool itself is a true featherweight at only 1.1 ounces.

LOOP GRAPHITE 1/2

Like a graphite fly rod, this reel is incredibly strong for its weight. The Loop Graphite incorporates most of the feaures of the Loop Traditional, but because it is less costly to manufacture and uses a simpler mechanism, it offers anglers excellent value. One size handles lines from #3 to #7.

LOOP Hl-TECH SALMON/SEA TROUT 1/2

Loop HiTech reels are among the most technically advanced reels in the world. Like the Loop Traditional models, they are machined from the highest quality aluminum.

The sophisticated drag system on the Loop HiTech reels can be set in seven different positions and finetuned to each angling situation.

The drag system on the Salmon and Seatrout models operates only in the out direction, so each reel comes set up for either LEFTHAND or RIGHTHAND retrieve. The click drag can be turned off for silent running. Spools are easily changed.

LOOP Hl TECH GRAYLING/TROUT 1/2

Identical to the Salmon/ Seatrout HiTech reels, except these models feature a drag system that works in both directions they can be used as either right or lefthand retrieve.

Designed for light tippet fishing, the Grayling and Trout models are extremely versatile. Each model handles four different line sizes and backing with ease.
