Penn IMS Graphite Gold Medal Series
These U.S.A. made rods are based on todays most advanced fly rod technology. The blanks combine 96% IM6 graphite with Epoxy X43 - Penn's exclusive resin system. The result is IMS - and rods that develop high line speed with less effort. All models come wlth a half-wells cork grip, an uplocking reel seatt hat is titanium-colored anodized aluminum with a handsome rose insert. Each Gold Medal rod comes equipped with an aluminum oxide stripper guide. Snake and tip top guides are chromed stainless steel. Each model features a tasteful brown custom thread wrap and a handy keeper ring. All models are two piece and feature Penn's custom graphite ferrule system. Each rod comes with a burgundy Cordura covered tubular hard case.
