Spencer necks have a glossy sheen that helps make your flies look more alive on the water. You will find a complete range of feather sizes on each cape and saddle. The feathers are extremely long with short, stiff, uniform barbs radiating from the stem and a minimum of web. The stem of the feathers will ba thin and supple allowing you to wrap without the problem of cracking or breaking so you can have the maximum numbsr of wraps which give you a dense hackle on your dry fly.
