Most
anglers wear neopreme waders in cold conditions. Neoprene has many positive
qualities but "comfortable fit" isn't one of them. Putting on
a thick fleece top, and then stuffing the lower half of the top under the
waders just adds to the problem, stuffing unnecessary bulk under your waders
where you don't need it.
What we really need is a jacket that provides substantial thermal protection where there is no neoprene, and less thermal protection and less bulk where there is noprene. Make sense? We thought so, and so we developed a high-quality top with this in mind.
The Waterworks' Fleece Top
uses two different fabric weights: state-of -the-art Polartec 300 for maximum
warmth over the chest, upper back, arms and neck (everything above the waders)
and thin but efficient Polartec 200 for the lower half so that the top can
be easily and comfortably worn with waders.
Features include Polartec cuffs on the sleeves, full-front No. 5 coat zipper, two side seam pockets and a room zipper poccket on the chest.
