Guest fishermen sleep in 10 twinbedded rooms with private shower and toilet facilities. The accommodation is typically Icelandic, simple and clean. Leisure time, when not on the river bank, can be spent in the comfortable modern lounge and dining room. Guests eat together and the cuisine is of a high standard. A storage room and coolers are provided for guests to store their catch. The use of a guide is highly recommended. One guide is provided for every two anglers,and he will know the best lies and how to fish them. Also he will be able to advise on tackle and techniques, which may be slightly different on Icelandic waters from those encountered in other countries. The guide will also provide transport to and from this long and varied river.
